Breathe is a documentary about the female inmates of the penitentiary of Can Brians 1.
The documentary gives a voice to imprisoned women and reflecting on the current prison system to find out if the judicial system is favorable from a point of view of the health, hygiene and bioethics.
The documentary also reveals the bond these women have with prison and the space that it delimits it.
Breathe is committed in a realist and direct filmmaking process which looks to portrait the life in a penitentiary.
