Synopsis_

Gabriel Ferrater was a poet, linguist, translator, editor... but he did not go to school. He grew up devouring libraries and thus forged a free spirit. He was still a teenager when the Spanish Civil War caused a general moral collapse, and Gabriel and his family had to flee. The fear experienced during those years would define all his later work.
