Movies for Festivals has started off 2019 with new films in the Catalogue that are World and International Premieres!

In 2019 we have added strong movies to our Catalogue to initiate the international film festivals circuit!

We currently have four new feature films; two World Premieres from Uruguay and Venezuela and two International Premieres from Spain.

WORLD PREMIERES:

1- “Conejo” (Rabbit) (Venezuela/88 min. /2019)
It's the last feature film Directed by Carla Forte (selected in Berlinale Talents 2017)
A production from Venezuela in co-production with Cuba and USA.

“Conejo” shows the creative process between a director and an actress while they rehearse a play called with the same name: "Rabbit".

"A psychological experiment between daily life and theatre".

2- “Mirador” (Lookout /Uruguay/ 75 min./ 2019). This film is the second film Directed by Antón Terni and It's a production from Uruguay in co-production with USA.

“Mirador”
is about three best friends who are all blind; they are best friends and share their daily lives together.

"It's a film about friendship through the senses and a metaphor about connection and loss".

 Both films are available for festivals and are World Premieres!

 

On the other hand, two Spanish documentaries:

1 - “Idrissa, Chronicle of an Ordinary Death” (Spain/ 84 min./2018) Directed by Xavier Artigas and Xapo Ortega (The Directors of the controversial documentary “Ciutat Morta”) has been add to our catalogue as an International Premiere.

This documentary is a co-production between Polar Star Films and Metromuster.

A powerful and activist documentary about the case of Idrissa, a 21 year - old Guinean man who died in a CIE (Migrant Detention Centre in Barcelona)  

The film has already started the film festivals circuit which participated in Seville Festival in 2018 and this year in DocumentaMadrid, FIT-CAT Tarifa, among others.

The documentary are available for film festivals and is International Premiere!

2- “Ciudad de los Muertos” (City of the Death / Spain / 58 min. 72019) its a feature documentary Directed by Miguel Eek.

The film has already started the film festival circuit this year in FIPADOC (Biarritz, France) with a lot of successful and DocFeed (Amsterdam).
Next month it will take part in the Doxa Festival (Canada)
and in Spain in the Atlántida Film Fest where it will be the Spanish Premiere.

"The Money Complex (Der Geldkomplex)" Selected at 18th Malaga Spanish Film Festival

La Opera prima de Juan Rodrigáñez El Compejo del Dinero (Der Geldkomplex) recién llegada de la 65º Berlinale, se estrena hoy 22 the Abril 2015 en el 18º Festival de Málaga de cine Español dentro de a sección oficial Zonazine donde comienza su recorrido por festivals españoles.
El próximos sábado 25 de Abril se proyectará también en el D’A Festival de Cinema de Autor de Barcelona.

Two films from our catalogue Selected at D'A - Barcelona International Auteur Film Festival 2015

Continuando con sus circuitos festivaleros, dos películas de nuestro catálogo:
